Maintenance Organisations (MOs) are responsible for the maintenance of military aircraft and other aeronautical products and components, are subject to certification and receive approval from the ΗΝΜΑΑ, in accordance with article 5 of the Presidential Decree 85/2020 (Government Gazette A’198).
The HNMAA approves the Maintenance Organisations (MOs) by conducting audits and assessments to determine their compliance with the requirements set out in the Hellenic Military Airworthiness Regulation (ELMAR) 145 (under development).
According to article 7 of the Presidential Decree 85/2020 (Government Gazette A’198), the ΗΝΜΑΑ may recognise certificates of approval to Maintenance Organisations from another military or civil aviation / airworthiness authority recognised by the ΗΝΜΑΑ.
