Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisations (CAMOs):
- ensure that all maintenance activities on an aircraft are planned and performed by approved maintenance organisations;
- collect data during aircraft operations;
- report to the Military Type Certificate holder and to the HNMAA any significant malfunctions or incidents of aeronautical products;
- develop and monitor aircraft maintenance programmes;
- conduct airworthiness audits of aircraft.
The HNMAA approves the Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisations (CAMOs) by conducting audits and assessments to determine their compliance with the requirements set out in the relevant Hellenic Military Airworthiness Regulation (ELMAR) (under development).
