Continuing Airworthiness

According to article 1 of the Presidential Decree 85/2020 (Government Gazette A’198) Continuing Airworthiness is the set of procedures that ensure that the aircraft at any time in its operational life complies with the applicable airworthiness requirements and is in a condition for safe operation.

To achieve this based on its current statutory – regulatory framework, the HNMAA certifies, approves and supervises the organisations responsible for the management and implementation of the maintenance of aeronautical products and parts, as well as the training and licensing of competent maintenance personnel.
