On Tuesday, June 10, 2025, the Director of the Hellenic Army General Staff Army Aviation Directorate (HAGS/AAD), Brigadier General Paschalis Gkoutsidis, and the Director of the Technical Directorate (HAGS/TD), Brigadier General Periandros Kostoulas, visited the Hellenic National Military Airworthiness Authority (HNMAA).
During the visit, they met with the Commander of the HNMAA, Brigadier General (ENG) Angelos Tsorovas and with the Authority’s Directors and Heads of Departments. Brief presentations took place on the mission and current priority projects of the HNMAA, including airworthiness certification of Hellenic Army Programs. Additionally, discussion took place on the compliance with the regulatory airworthiness framework of the Hellenic Military Airworthiness Regulations (ELMARs).
It was mutually established that scheduling further meetings, with a broader participation of responsible Staff Officers of the Hellenic Army, would be beneficial, in order to enhance cooperation and support of the HNMAA to HAGS in the transitional adaptation phase to the new regulatory airworthiness framework of the Hellenic Military Airworthiness Regulations (ELMARs).
