The Hellenic National Military Airworthiness Authority (HNMAA) organised the 40th meeting of the Continuing Airworthiness Advisory Group (CAWAG), of the European Defence Agency (EDA), at the Athens Armed Forces Officers’ Club, which was held from 10 to 12 September 2024.
Apart from the Greek hosts, representatives from the following European Defence Agency members States participated: Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Spain and Sweden.
The task of the advisory group is the development of the European requirements concerning the continuing airworthiness of military aircraft [European Military Airworthiness Requirements (EMARs)]. The work of the meeting has been the drafting of the acceptance means of compliance of EMAR 145, concerning the airworthiness requirements for the aeronautical products maintenance organizations.
