On the 6th June 2024, the initial recognition process of the Italian Airworthiness Authority [Direzione degli Armamenti Aeronautici e per L’Aeronavigabilità (DAAA)] was successfully completed by the Hellenic National Military Airworthiness Authority (HNMAA).
The recognition applies to all airworthiness activities performed by this organisation in the areas of design, production and maintenance, for all aircraft under its auspices.
The recognition was conducted by HNMAA, in accordance with article 7 of the presidential decree 85/2020 (Government Gazette A’198), using the European Military Airworthiness Document “Recognition Process” (EMAD R edition 3.1), which has been adopted by HNMAA as a standard process for the recognition of aviation / airworthiness authorities.
The recognition was validated by the issuance of the Certificate of Recognition HNMAA-RGN-2024-01 (DAAA) on the 6th June 2024, which is valid for 4 years from the date of issue and will be renewed after re-implementation of the EMAD R process.
