Initial Recognition of the Military Airworthiness Authorities of France by the HNMAA

On the 16^th October 2023, the initial recognition process of the following French Airworthiness Authorities was successfully completed by the Hellenic National Military Airworthiness Authority (HNMAA):

a. Direction Générale de l’Armement (DGA).

b. Direction de la Sécurité Aéronautique d’État (DSAÉ).

The recognition applies to all airworthiness activities performed by these organisations in the areas of design, production and maintenance, for all aircraft under their auspices.

The recognition was conducted by HNMAA, in accordance with article 7 of the presidential decree 85/2020 (Government Gazette A’198), using the European Military Airworthiness Document “Recognition Process” (EMAD R edition 3.1), which has been adopted by HNMAA as a standard process for the recognition of aviation / airworthiness authorities.

The recognition was validated by the issuance of the Certificates of Recognition HNMAA-RGN-2023-02 (DGA) & HNMAA-RGN-2023-03 (DSAÉ) on the 16th October 2023, which are valid for 4 years from the date of issue and will be renewed after re-implementation of the EMAD R process.
